Christopher McColl is a freelance artist and illustrator. His artwork has a unique style that combines traditional and modern techniques. He works in a variety of mediums including drawing, painting, printmaking and digital. His preferred technique is to draw in pen directly by hand. Many of his distinctive, quirky artworks and designs are inspired by a life-long fascination and love of birds and animals.

He is also passionate about creating beautiful, high-quality cards and stationery. His range of greetings cards, prints, gift wrap and postcards sell in many gift shops, card shops, galleries and visitor centres etc. across the UK. Christopher graduated from Edinburgh College of Art with a First-Class Honours Degree in Illustration.
